Meditation is a life changing practice that helps us to literally re-wire our minds. Meditation is one of the best tools we have to counter the brain’s negativity bias, release accumulated stress, cultivate positive experiences, and enjoy the peace of present moment awareness.

Each class will include introduction to a topic or a meditation technique and a guided meditation.

– $85 for a 5 class pass (can include both yoga & meditation classes)
– $30 Monday Special discounted price for both yoga (6:30 pm) & meditation class (8pm) on the same day

– Bring your own cushion or mat to sit on if you prefer to sit on the floor for your meditation

Each week will include introduction to a topic, a meditation technique and 1 or 2 guided meditations.

Week 1:
– Introduction to meditation
– Practicing awareness
– The 7 attitudes of mindfulness
– Guided meditation on breath

Week 2:
– Mindfulness of body & breath
– Body scan meditation

Week 3:
– Cultivating mental focus and mental clarity
– Unskillful vs skillful thinking
– Guided meditation on thoughts

Week 4:
– Accessing inner peace
– Mindfulness of emotions

Week 5:
– Cultivating compassion
– Guided meditation on loving kindness

Week 6:
– Integration & 3 step meditation
– Visualisation meditation & self-healing

Weekly handouts and homework will be included to help you integrate the techniques into your daily life.

Price and Required Time Commitment:
– 2 hour classroom session once a week for 6 weeks + daily meditation practice for at least 15 minutes a day at home
