Goddess Self

I have been experimenting with automatic writing and this morning the words “goddess self, goddess self, goddess self…” kept playing in my head. So I sat down to type and this is what has come through. Perhaps there is something in this for you.

Goddess Self

The power of the Goddess is always running through the body, all the meridians and energy centres. Embrace the power of the Goddess, call upon it and let it move through you. Be still, set an intention and allow.

It is not something that you need to deserve, it is not anything special or unreachable. It is you, as you were made. It is part of you. It is not separate. It is an integral part of your being. Let that energy circulate within you and through you. It will find its way if you allow it.

Your power is in your Goddess energy and it is unlimited. It is birthing your reality from within, from this powerful energy that created the world. Let power of creation move through you. It is right there with you. It is not outside of you.

Let go of your stories. Let go of your silly beliefs about not being enough, not doing enough.

Be still.
Be silent and let it come through from within.
It is right there.

Your body, your brain, it is all made of this magical power, this magical energy that creates all that you see around you. Open your heart and your mind to this powerful truth. This is what you were born to do. You were born to create. Your heart and your mind have an enormous creative capacity. Interlocking the energy of your heart with the power of your mind will move the denser realities and will open up a window of possibility, of pure creative potential. It is out of this space that the new world will be born. Feel into this space of limitless potential. It is right there. It is within you if only you listened and allowed yourself to feel into it.

The energy is circulating between the heart and the brain. Tune into this rhythm. It has it’s own momentum. Don’t check out. Bring your consciousness back in. Into your body, into your energy field. Be present with the energy that is arising within you. It will speak to you if you allow it. It is the momentum of your soul moving through you. That spirit part of you that is unseen but is deeply felt and acknowledged. You are never disconnected. It is right there within you. Just allow it. Allow it in this moment. Feel into this power.

You are not doing it alone. You are connected to all that is and to the blueprint of the entire Universe. And you know it is not just words because you’ve felt it. You know it deep inside yourself. You have always known that and you were afraid of it. It is time to let the guards down and let it move through you. That Goddess energy of creation, of All That Is. You’ve been on this journey for a while and have had glimpses of what is possible. It is time now to let go of limitations and step into this energy, step into this power. It is time to create. And you know that. You know. Allow it. Move with it. Feel it. Let it move through you. Let it express through you, through your physical body.

Why are you still doubting yourself if the feeling is so obvious to you? Why are you not trusting? What is stopping you from allowing this creation? It is ready to move through you. You are ready. You have always been. You have not allowed that until now.

What is holding you back? Sit with it. Look at it. Understand this is not who you are. You are truly unlimited. The created and the creator. You embody the Goddess energy with every cell of your being. With every vibration of your frequency, which you call thought, you are expressing your Goddess energy. It is not separate from you. It is right here, governing every movement of every cell in your physical body. So why are you doubting? Your body, your life is a miracle of creation. Although a miracle is only meaningful from your physical self point of you. From your Goddess Self, there is nothing miraculous about expressing who you are. Because you simply cannot stop that stream of energy, the Goddess power that is you. It’s very deeply ingrained in the core of your being, of who you truly are.

Owning Your Spirituality

To all the cool peeps out there who think that God is uncool!

By Elena Lapina

Why is it that so many people avoid talking about God? Is it because they are afraid? Or is it because it is just not a cool thing to do nowadays? People might think you are a weirdo or, worse, a member of some kind of a cult…

But what is it in this word that makes us uncomfortable? What meaning do we attach to it that makes it so ‘uncool’? What comes to mind when I say God? I bet you’re thinking of church, religion, priests, nuns, old naive people, middle age crisis, etc. Do you cringe when I say ‘God loves you’?

What if I say ‘spirituality’ instead? A bit more palatable? Or how about ‘Universal Intelligence’? Sounds a bit safer, doesn’t it? But whatever you call it, the bottom line is we still feel a bit uneasy about it… for various reasons… But the truth is spirituality is the essence of who we are. We are all spiritual beings whether we are aware of it or not. When we ignore or deny that, we suffer because we deny our true nature.

I’m sure you all have your own opinion about that which is absolutely fine. Everyone is entitled to make up their own mind about it. What I want to do though is to share what I’ve come to realise and what I’ve learnt from my own experience of spirituality. If that resonates, great! If not, that’s ok too, take what you need and continue on.

I grew up in an atheistic communist Russia. None of my parents or close family were into God or religion at all, apart from my paternal grandmother who quietly continued to perform various religious rituals and attended church from time to time. In a way I think it was a blessing in disguise. I didn’t have much religious conditioning and wasn’t forced to believe anything or do anything in relation to God or religion. However I remember being quite curious about it in my early years. I even found a small Bible book for kids. I can’t remember where I got it from but I remember I enjoyed reading it very much. Life was pretty hard in those times; my parents struggled to make ends meet. I don’t remember much from those years; it seems my mind decided not to keep painful memories of struggle. But I do remember a sense of inspiration I got from reading that small book.

Then I grew up. Life became busy. There was a lot to achieve. I made plans, worked hard and followed my dreams. I achieved everything I had wanted to achieve. I got a degree, moved overseas, built my career, was in a long-term relationship and purchased my first home. On the surface I had a perfect life and had fulfilled my dreams. But underneath all of that I was unhappy. Something was missing. I couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was so I came up with a few stories and excuses. Then I got to the point where I couldn’t do it any more. I needed a change.

They say when the student is ready, the teacher appears. This was certainly the case with me. A phase of learning and transformation began. I met some incredible people and read some amazing books. I learnt about spirituality, yoga, tantra, energy healing, crystals, reiki, law of attraction, higher self, angels, ascended masters, chakras, miracles, the power of gratitude, meditation, etc. I was really curious about it all and hungry to learn more. I immersed myself fully and without reservations. It was time of revelations and epiphanies. Not all of it was easy but the results were always worth it. I felt I had finally found the missing piece!

So what did I learn? Call it whatever you like, God, Spirit, Universal Intelligence, Source, Energy, Awakening, Enlightenment, but it is here and it is real. Embracing it is the best thing you can ever do for yourself. When you are fully aligned with it, you experience the most profound feelings of lasting joy, love and happiness, not dependant on external circumstances or other people. You begin to understand how the world works and see your place, mission and purpose in it.

I think it is time that we removed old conditioning and outdated stereotypes out of the meaning of God and infused it with new ideas and inspiration. Spirituality is not about going to church once a week. It is about being aligned to your truth, passion, joy, love and happiness. Once you’ve released old conditioning and are fully aligned to your truth you can’t help but radiate that out to the rest of the world.

So what does spirituality and connection to God/ Source/ the Universe actually feel like? It is hard to explain… It’s one of those things you’ve got to experience to understand fully. The best way I can describe it is you feel very supported and connected to something bigger than you and to all things. You experience pure bliss, love, kindness and compassion. It is like falling in love with all living things, with nature, the whole world and life itself. You find inner peace and have a very deep understanding and inner knowing that all that matters is love and love is all there is. You become lighter, more in the flow and unaffected by external circumstances. Spirituality is not about worshiping some external deity. It is about realising that God / Spirit is in you. You are the Creation and the Creator and are connected to all there is. When you are realise this, you ‘plug into’ the Universe and experience a feeling of expansion. It is like returning home…

Sounds pretty cool, hey?… But how do we get there?…

There is no one way but lots of different ways and you may need to try a few of them. And I am not talking about drugs here (although certain drugs can give you a feeling of euphoria temporarily). I’m talking about ways to achieve a lasting feeling of peace, contentment and happiness without any negative side effects.

Be open-minded, curious, willing and committed to your growth and the perfect way/teacher will come at the perfect time. We are living in very interesting times. Spiritual awakening is happening all around us. More and more people are shedding the old ways of living and thinking, becoming aligned to their truth and start to own their spiritual nature. I have found my path through yoga, meditation and energy healing. But there are many other ways. I could offer you advice but only you will know what’s right for you. Choose what resonates with you and commit fully.

It is worth it!

Three simple steps to transform your life!

By Elena Lapina

The biggest obstacle that prevents us from achieving our dreams is our own self-sabotage and procrastination. Having been a master-procrastinator myself, I only wish I had learnt this lesson earlier! It took me 16 years to finally sign up for driving lessons and get my license! No kidding!

Why do we procrastinate? When we think about our goals and dreams, we can easily become overwhelmed, unsure, uneasy, fearful and uncertain. This is usually the case because our dreams seem too big or too complex and therefore, can appear too unrealistic to obtain. For example, ‘I want to earn lots of money and travel the world’. Because this is so big, we often don’t know where to start and at times it seems like there’s no point in even starting as we can’t imagine ourselves ever being able to achieve it. So we procrastinate. We feel stuck. And do nothing.

The first step to achieving your dream is to imagine exactly what you want it to look like, imagine it in as many specific details as you can, picture it in your mind, write about it, and do whatever else you need to bring it to life in your mind. I like this quote by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer: “The greatest gift you have been given is the gift of your imagination. Everything that now exists was once imagined. And everything that will ever exist must first be imagined.”

Once you’ve imagined your ideal situation, decide on when approximately you want to achieve it and start to work backwards. Say for example, if you want to buy your own house in 5 years, start thinking where you need to be in 3 years to be able to achieve it: how much money you will need to have saved, how much extra income you will need to earn. Brainstorm how you can make that saving or how you can generate that additional income. Will you go for a promotion in your current job? Will it suit you to get a second job or will you start looking for better paid employment? Have you thought about launching your own business? Turning your hobby into an additional income? Investing money?

Say for example, you have come up with a few ideas and decided on how much money you will need. You have also decided that the most suitable way for you to get there would be to go for a promotion in your current job while looking to optimise your monthly budget to increase your savings. You’ve also decided to research some investment opportunities, high interest accounts and long-term deposit options. There you go! You have just created your first high-level action plan! And it gets easier from here! The next step is to break it down into smaller, more specific steps. In order for you to get a promotion within the next 3 years, where will you need to be in 2 years, 1 year, 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 1 week and finally what do you need to get done today to bring yourself closer to your goal?

Here’s a quick case study to illustrate what that might look like. Based on the above example, your today’s specific action plan could be as follows:

1)  Prepare for a meeting with my manager to discuss development opportunities within my company.
2)  Make a list of my monthly expenses to get a clear picture of what I spend money on each month and how much I spend.
3)  Call my bank to see what’s involved in setting up a long term deposit account.

It sounds pretty achievable for 1 day, doesn’t it? Congratulations!! You are now 3 steps closer to achieving your dream!

Your tomorrow’s specific action plan could be as follows:

1)  Sign up for job alert emails to get notifications when new jobs are advertised within the company.
2)  Call my friend who can help with some career advice.
3)  Review the list of my monthly expenses to look for opportunities to reduce the expenses by 10%, 15 %, 20%, etc. Make a list of these opportunities (for example, stop buying take away coffee and use a free coffee machine at work instead).

Your next day action plan could include:

1)  Book a meeting with my manager to discuss career opportunities.
2)  Start to use the free coffee machine at work from today instead of buying take away coffee.
3)  Fill out the application form for the high interest long term account and submit to the bank.

You get the idea!

Small actions on a daily basis can generate some big momentum and in just 1 week you could achieve more than in 1 month!!

Let’s do some simple maths. Completing 3 actions per day makes it 21 action steps per week and about 90 action items per month!! That’s 1095 per year!! Imagine what you could achieve in 1 year and how much satisfaction you would get from seeing the results of your actions. If you follow through with it, I bet your future life, a year from now, would look very different compared to what you are experiencing right now.

Here are some things to consider before you get started:

  • Keep it simple! Don’t overwhelm yourself. In the example above, it could be as simple as making a ‘smart’ shopping list to maximise your weekly savings.
  • 3 is a good number! Take 3 small steps each day (it really doesn’t matter how small!) but always keep your bigger goal in mind (Why are you doing it?).
  • Make these steps actionable and realistic. If it is not realistic, break it down even further until it becomes manageable to complete in 1 day.
  • Write it down. It becomes more tangible once on paper and you will get a feeling of satisfaction when you tick it off at the end of the day.
  • If you get off track, simply start again. Don’t beat yourself up; just start fresh the next day. Small action is better than no action at all.
  • You don’t need to know all the details of how your dream will come about. Make the first step and the ‘how’ will be revealed as you go.
  • Be flexible to change and adjust if your goal is no longer relevant. Regular revision, some tweaks and changes along the way will help ensure that you continue moving in the direction that you want.

And the most important step is to start now! Just start! Don’t wait for perfect conditions.”The time will never be ‘just right’. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along” (Napoleon Hill).

Off you go!
